28 अप्रैल 2026 को Google ने एक ऐसा feature launch किया जो करोड़ों भारतीयों की ज़िंदगी बदल सकता है। India में consumers अब अपना Aadhaar Verifiable Credential directly Google Wallet में save कर सकते हैं — यह एक secure, digital-first ID बनाता है जो everyday identity verification को बेहद आसान बनाता है।
अब physical Aadhaar card ढूँढने की, photocopy निकालने की या किसी को original दिखाने की ज़रूरत नहीं — सब कुछ आपके smartphone में, एक tap पर।
Aadhaar को Google Wallet में कैसे लाया गया?
यह feature UIDAI के साथ Google की deep partnership का नतीजा है। Google ने UIDAI के साथ partnership के तहत India में Aadhaar को Google Wallet पर लाया है — security, privacy और interoperability इस integration के हर layer में built-in हैं।
सबसे खास बात है Selective Disclosure — यानी जब भी आप अपनी ID verify करते हैं, तो सिर्फ ज़रूरी details ही share होती हैं — पूरी Aadhaar information नहीं।
मतलब — cinema में age proof देनी है तो सिर्फ आपकी date of birth share होगी, पूरा Aadhaar number नहीं।
